You can now take full advantage of custom coding for your BMW car. You can personalize your BMW to your liking and enable those features that you really like or perhaps disable few of those annoying things. A lot of features such as Window/sunroof/trunk close via fob, DVD play in motions have been disabled for North America while European BMWs have these options. We are able to enable them.
Some of the codings are as follow:
Orange side marker light disable (those ugly ambers can finally turn off
Mirror auto fold (mirrors fold when you lock the car with the fob or through comfort access. Similarly, they will unfold when you unlock the car)
Window up via fob (close windows via fob just as you would open them via fob)
Sunroof close via fob (sunroof can now open and close via the fob only
Convertible top open and close via fob (nice feature for convertibles)
Remote trunk close (trunk close via fob or from inside with the trunk button. Only for motorized trunks x5/x6)
Enable Digital Speedometer (when you hit BC button you will see your speed in digital format)
Instant MPG (enable instant MPG indication when will be in the BC button cycle)
Eject Key fob with engine off (when you hit the start/stop button, your fob is ejected and doors are opened automatically)
Disable iDrive Disclaimer (disable those annoying i-Drive Disclaimers)
Disable Backup Camera Disclaimer (disable those annoying backup camera Disclaimers)
Enable DVD in motion (Normally as soon as you start driving video will stop playing. you can now drive and have your DVD play. Note: this is not intended for you to drive and watch movies at the same time. This is intended for your passengers to be able to watch videos while you pay attention driving safely. )
Double blink Euro Hazards (instead of flash, pause, flash your hazard will now do flash, flash, pause, flash flash. Looks very nice)
Fog lights on with high beams (your fog lights will no longer turn off when you turn on your high beams)
Disable auto dim on the mirrors ( useful feature if your auto dim makes causes visibility issues)
Instrument Cluster light always on (your instrument cluster light will not turn off automatically when doors are unlocked)
M style HUD (heads up display ) for non M cars (gives you gear shift indication)
Enable Shift recommendation for 6MT
Enable pathway lights on with fob
Please note that not all of the above coding is applicable to all cars. Coding options may differ based on what packages/option you car came with. However most of the features on top will apply to all newer BMWs
We do all coding with certified software/hardware and therefore everything is safe. In case you don't like a certain feature its fully reversible.
Each code is $20. However we can do package deal upon request. Coding takes 20-30 mins
