Hiring a Full-Time Dispatcher for large company (Toronto) in Toronto, Ontario For Sale

Avery HR is currently looking to hire a full-time Dispatcher for a large client in the Waste Management industry. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is accountable for the efficient operation of the Dispatch function at the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Co-ordinate with drivers, to ensure customer satisfaction and route efficiency
Assist Ops Mgr in scheduling manpower and routes
Check-in Drivers, Maintain routes etc.
Monitor drivers hours, reduce overtime and comply with all applicable legislation
Analyze all facets of the haulage and recycling operations for efficiency and cost improvement
Other duties and projects as assigned by Operations Manager
EXPERIENCE:
Must have minimum 5 years experience in a similar role in the Waste Industry.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Familiarity with Ministry of Transportation rules and regulations in relation to the Waste haulage industry
· Organizational skills
EDUCATION:
Degree or diploma in similar industry/enviornment.
