The Inside Strategic Account Manager (ISAM) position is responsible for developing relationships and penetrating sales for assigned existing strategic accounts within a geographic territory or location. The ISAM is the primary contact for assigned clients and works as needed, with Sales Managers, Sales Associates, product specialist and customer service to manage the relationship for clients. ISAM's also develop new business by reactivating accounts and increasing compliance.
The ISAM role is assigned clients that are either mid-market/regional or strategic. The type accounts assigned determine both the number and call cycle expectation for the ISAM role.
Manages day-to-day relationship with customer by developing a high value-add relationship with key contact/buyer and recording on Salesforce.com
Identifies short-term and long-term sales retention and penetration opportunities
Coordinates account servicing and fulfillment with support from Customer Service
Increase market share within portfolio of accounts through penetration of Line of Business and reactivating inactive accounts
Time Management skills
Minimum 2 years of selling experience penetrating or maintaining accounts; or several years experience in customer service role with upselling emphasis
Demonstrated excellence in providing superior customer service, communication, negotiation, interpersonal and problem solving skills
Superior time management and organizational skills
Strong computer literacy (experience with Salesforce.com and SAVO an asset)
Detail oriented with strong administrative follow-up and follow through
Post secondary education in business related discipline - Siploma or Degree preferred
