Not sure if I've seen one of these on Canadianlisted before but I have a wood, 2-lane slot car track available for sale. It started life as a bunch of 3/8" thick 4x8 sheets of MDF, and ended up as a 54' track. It has even lane lengths, and comes apart into 3 easy sections and one not quite as easy. That last one was required to get it down my stairs. The lanes are 4" apart, outside border is 5", inside is 3" so you can run 1/32nd and 1/24th scale cars.
The track takes up approximately 8' x 15' of space and you'll need some walk-around room for marshalling. Cars, power supply and throttles are not included but there is a timing system built in, you just need an old computer with a parallel port and some free software. I can recommend a place to purchase throttles and a power supply. A good lap is between six and seven seconds. The track is braided (no copper tape for this one!), non-magnetic, and has flat latex paint as the surface. Works great with urethane tires.
