INUIT SCULPTURE with "ESKIMO" LABEL, SIGNED, c1970's - $195 in Toronto, Ontario for sale

RARE INUIT Green Argillite SCULPTURE of INUIT MAN with SEAL with LABEL MARKED, "ESKIMO CANADA", scratched no. 124035 (FCNQ* inventory no.), & Syllabic Lettering, "Silassie Neviaxie" (Niviaxie) (1934 - 2000), c1970's, 8" H x 3 1/2" W, with chip on bottom (could have arisen when first made as it's not sharp on the edges) but not seen when standing up. Coming from a whole family of carvers from his father Conlucy to brothers, Samwillie, Adamie, Jeremiah, & Joseph, & sister, Nellie Nastapoka, Mr. Niviaxie (Neviaxie) worked & lived in Inukjuak (formerly Port Harrison), lastly living in Kuujjuaraapik.
