Canada's leading media monitoring service, is on the hunt for a "full-stack" developer who can create complete web products, from front-end UI, to middle-tier connectivity, to back-end processes.
The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial streak, with a demonstrated ability to translate specific business needs into technical requirements, and execute on them at all stages of the product development process.
In this position you will:
Help conceive, build and integrate groundbreaking new products
Work with a small team of sales, product and technical experts to increase customer satisfaction across our platforms.
Always be at the forefront of current and budding digital trends and help us find opportunities to take advantage of them
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum 2+ years professional experience with PHP development
Excellent knowledge of SQL design & integration with front-end systems
Experience working with full-text search
Unparalleled ability to write clean, organized and well-documented code using PHP, leveraging HTML5, CSS, Javascript, jQuery
Excellent written and oral English communication skills
Keen interest in news and social media
Experience with advanced Apache configuration, e.g. mod_rewrite is a plus
