Sculpture by artist Marion Fralick Bartlett, Father & Son doggie - $12 (Bathurst St. & Sheppard Ave. West) in Toronto, Ontario for sale


This original Clay sculpture "FATHER & SON" is signed by the artist and "Canada" is impressed into the bottom of the sculpture piece. It is unglazed, fired clay stoneware with painted & glazed accents. It is from approx. 1980 and was purchased at the One-Of-A-Kind Craft Show. The artist specialized with her stylized portrayals of dogs in human scenarios.
The subject of this sculpture is as follows:
- A Father reading to Son: an adorable doggy father with his arm around doggy son; they are cuddled up reading an open book. Father is wearing a baseball cap. It is 5 inches high.
